Neil Enloe (inducted in 2002) -- Enloe, from Mechanicsburg, PA, heard southern Gospel music on the radio at his childhood home in Illinois. In 1955, a quartet from Central Bible Institute in Springfield, MO sang at his church. It challenged Neil to consider the ministry. As a member of The Couriers from 1957 to 2001, his singing and song writing career touched many lives. He received two 1976 Dove Awards for his song, Statue Of Liberty (Song Of The Year and Associate member Award). Although Neil is now retired, or somewhat retired singing with his friends, Duane and Dave, he continues to write and arrange the music he loves -- Southern Gospel.
