Lloyd Sheffler (Deceased) (inducted in 2003) -- Lloyd lived in a coal mining area in New Alexandria, PA. Early in the 1970's he began with the Conemaugh Valley Gospel Quartet where he sang, played guitar, and bass.  He also played the mandaline. He won the Tri-state Fan Appreciation Award in 1985 and 86. He was a man with many funny stories and know for his quick wit and sense of humor. He never had an unkind word about anyone and would always find a good quality in someone before looking at their faults. He thought he looked like Colonel Sanders with his handlebar mustache and grayish red hair. He always carried a smile with him wherever he would go. His wife, Gladys, and children, Glenn, Pam, Amy, and Phoebe truly miss him, but he is now singing in the Heavenly Choir.
